My Toy Box

On September 18, 2008, my animations appeared inside video clues on an episode of Jeopardy! The category, "Accelerator," featured the SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory.

In 2012, just for fun, I built a replica of SLAC's linear accelerator (linac) out of LEGO® bricks. After photographing the model, SLAC promoted it on social media and was even tweeted by the U.S. Department of Energy.

Fast forward to 2020, when I was asked to design a real brick set officially for the lab as part of outreach and events. I even designed an instruction booklet for the set!

I created this animation in college for an assignment on animating text. Since posting on YouTube in 2007, it has received more than 230,000 views!

In 2010, my illustration was selected for the official 2010 Star Trek: Ships of the Line calendar. This was a dream come true for a die-hard Star Trek fan like me.
